2008 WEPS ASRWelcome to Woonona East Public School (WEPS). We are a New South Wales Public School situated in the northern seaside suburbs of Wollongong. The school was was opened on 30th October 1964.

We are committed to the recognition and achievement of student potential. At WEPS we endeavour to empower students to take responsibility for their learning, because learning is a lifelong process. The school aims to provide children with an education which is balanced, challenging, rewarding and enjoyable. Through commitment and professionalism, the staff aims to create a positive learning environment which is safe, attractive, tolerant and supportive.

We promote through our policies, programs and actions the values of integrity, excellence, respect, responsibility, cooperation, participation, care, fairness and democracy.
