A Job For You!

Welcome back everyone,

I hope that despite the generally inclement weather you enjoyed the holidays and that the children have returned refreshed and ready for a busy term ahead. Details of all the school happenings for Term 4 will be published here in the newsletter over the next few weeks.

This term we will be undertaking a range of evaluations relating to school management and curriculum. The first of these is the Parent Satisfaction Survey which is enclosed in this newsletter.

This Survey has been designed to cover a number of areas – school environment, student welfare, school uniform, technology, service and communication and is vital in assisting the school to continually improve our service to you.

This survey is for parents to complete and is confidential. Please do not write your name on the Survey. Students will be given separate surveys designed specifically for them. Students will complete their surveys at school. It would be appreciated if the completed survey could be returned to school in a sealed envelope by Friday 30th October.

Thank you for your anticipated support. I look forward to sharing the results with you later this year and in the 2009 Annual School Report.

Enjoy your week.

Progress on Work Around The School.

Work is gradually moving ahead on our school hall. During the holidays the ground excavations were begun and services attached. The next stage will be in forming up and pouring the slab. We also had 6 classrooms painted during the holidays and the drainage, painting and roofing improvements completed in and around the toilets, covered ways, COLA and building exterior. We still have landscaping works, plumbing and some other minor jobs to complete before the end of the year.

Scrap Paper Wanted!

The library is in need of any scrap paper 9blank on only one side is fine) for the children to use at lunchtime in the library. Please send any p[aper to Ms Thompson in the library.

WEPS COOKBOOK

Can’t decide on which recipe to submit for our cookbook – then submit a few!!!!!

Come on, lets all become involved in this exciting and delicious WEPS Cookbook.  It would be fantastic if every family could put in at least one of their favourite recipes.

You can drop them off to the uniform shop on Monday, Wednesday or Friday mornings or you can send them to Renee at caitlin1@aapt.net.au

Remember to have the children decorate/illustrate on an A4 sheet of paper, include your family name and children names with the recipe.  Also, you can submit a name for our cookbook – the name selected will win an exciting prize.  If you have any queries, please call Renee 0431 458 798.
